Retrofit Kit

BSI Solar has designed and developed a retrofit kit that allows you to use your existing electric hot water tank to connect to our closed loop solar heating system.

The unit will screw into the water tank and replace the lower heating element. This illustration demonstrates the hot fluid going into the tank and the cold fluid returning to the solar collectors. The heat transfer fins are incorporated, but are not shown in this illustration.
